Night 10:00pm – 6:30am, Sunday – Thursday
Swing 2pm – 10:30pm, Monday – Friday
Day 6am – 2:30pm, Monday – Friday
Occasional overtime required
$16.25/hr, $1 shift differential for hours worked between 10pm – 6:30am
Per established procedure and under supervision, performs packaging and light machine operation functions in multiple work locations in support of HWP production goals. Per established procedures properly label and package product in correct configuration. Per established procedure apply the proper up to date labels, inserts and outer packaging materials for the work order. Per established procedure maintains all packaging equipment. Per established procedure help maintain inventory control of all labeling materials. Specific tasks are clearly defined by work instructions for each operation in the job rotation. A. Involves the process of picking the correct container for the product being packaged, along with the correct lid, neck band seal, and other packaging supplies.
B. Place materials on fixture or in position for process or operation to be completed.
C. Set-up and breakdown of machine and fixtures for processing. Work is based on specific guidelines for each machine and part. Set-up may consist of installation, changes and adjustments to fixture. Set-up activities may require the use of hand tools.
D. Minor, simple adjustments to machines may need to be made during processing. Adjustment may require the use of hand tools.
E. Moves and/or stacks bins/metal plates/bucket of materials, and may load tubs of materials to work centers as applicable.
F. Check and correct any conditions which are not conducive to a safe, clean work place. Report any safety problems immediately.
G. Visually and manually inspect bottles based to inspection guidelines to ensure bottles meet quality standards.
H. Complete documentation accurately and legibly per established procedures.
I. Maintains clean and orderly work area including: cleaning machines, breakdown of machine, tools and area around work station.
J. Ability to be at the physical location of the job at the designated shift assigned.
K. Will be asked to train someone and/or participate in a task force to improve company procedures or operations.
L. Ability to effectively problem-solve
M. Ability to work collaboratively and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers.
N. Must be able to successfully pass all job-related tests and certifications required for working in a cGMP, quality environment including but not limited to: inspections and GMP requirements to perform essential functions of the job. Must re-qualify every year on all job-related tests and certifications as job or qualifications require.
