PAY

$19 – $24/hr DOE

SHIFT

Monday – Friday, 8am – 5pm

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biology, Physics, or Engineering required
  • Minimum 2 years in a lab space or relevant experience in educational atmosphere preferred
  • Formal training in Continuous Improvement, Lean or Six Sigma preferred
  • Applied Mathematics
  • Experience with common laboratory equipment and good laboratory practices
  • Project Management Skills
  • Strong computer skills with applied use of ERP system
  • Experience with Experimental Designs
  • Experience with problem solving and analytical tools
  • Ability to learn and communicate technical/scientific information to non-technical audiences

JOB SUMMARY

This position is responsible for the development of formulations while supporting purchasing and overall operations of the products. The job involves a high degree of nuance specificity, requiring flexibility and excellent attention to detail.

  • Generate dietary supplement formulations to meet customer requirements.
  •  Analyze costs and create price quotations for manufacturing services.
  •  Evaluate existing price quotations for current validity.
  •  Analyze cost implications of material price fluctuations.
  •  Provide recommendations to lower costs, improve efficiency, etc..
  •  Set up and maintain ERP product data including BOM’s, routing and standard costs.
  •  Perform other duties as assigned.
