$70,000 – $80,000 per year
*This is an exempt position, all hours worked will be paid under the yearly wage

QUALIFICATIONS
Associates Degree or higher preferred
3 – 5 years experience in a training role in a manufacturing environment in lieu of a degree
Familiar with cGMP requirements for Dietary Supplement Manufacturing
Excellent verbal and written communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills. Able to effectively communicate with all levels of management and functional areas.
Highly organized and detail-oriented.
Must have the ability to work under pressure and potentially stressful conditions
Under minimal direction, works independently toward department objectives

JOB SUMMARY
As part of the EHS Team, the Training Specialist is responsible for assisting in the development, implementation, updating, and operation of the training programs for all HWP employees. This role will work daily with operations and other management to monitor and assess the training of all employees within HWP’s training programs until they become “fully trained.” This includes but is not limited to meeting with departmental management and subject matter experts to get feedback on the progress of training, meeting daily with trainees to see what is going well and what needs improvement to ensure they have what they need to succeed in their current role. Training and development/improvement of hands-on training using the Next 90 Workbooks and other training materials with an employee’s “overall training experience” being a focal point of the role.
